If you didn't try The Olive Tree Cafe for your 2024 Thanksgiving meal, you missed out! Put them on the calendar for next year and prepare to enjoy a stress free holiday meal. I ordered two single meals for my husband and I, and The Olive Tree was generous with their portions that my spouse and I only ate one single meal! The turkey was super moist, juicy and flavorful. Both dark and white meat was included in addition to stuffing and mashed potatoes. The green beans were so tasty! The yams with mini marshmallows rounded out our meal that we didn't need a pie. The Olive Tree also provided a nice setup outside of the restaurant while waiting for your order with space heaters, cookies and the best warm apple cider I've ever had! Don't miss out next time! I would put them on redial!
We loved this place. The fried feta is a must, it was spectacular! My boyfriend doesn't even like feta and he couldn't stop talking about it. Our waitress was great, we came from out of state and she was so nice to give us some pointers around town! We want to come back before we leave it was that good.
Michael and his staff killed it! Let me tell you ...I am traveling with an elderly disabled mom and her dog. So bringing her across the street just wasn't an option of driving 500 miles. They made her request even though it's not on their menu and I ordered the Baba Ghanoush ...best hummus! My mom gave them a rave review and said "they should market this sandwich". They made 3 days on the road and 1 day left amazing. Almost made me cry
The apricot jam on their charcuterie board is simply to die for. It reminds me a lot of what a hot honey resembles. In addition to what is pictured, I had the tabbouleh salad which was fresh, zippy, and tart-- just as a perfect tabbouleh salad should be! The music playlist with the pairing of their outdoor dining is something I genuinely appreciate as this dinner was shared with my dad whom I've not seen in person for many months. The music is nostalgic and brings me back to a simpler time.
Delicious food! The falafels are 10/10. Be careful ordering during busy hours...We ordered via grub hub during the dinner rush and our order was wrong
Disclaimer: Completely forgot to take photos. Stopped by TORC while staying overnight in Charleston... It was a block away from our hotel. It's a casually and modernly styled restaurant. The service was great, and the food was equally as good... We ordered a couple gyros, with cucumber and tomato salad, house potato salad, and baklava (some of the best of I've had since being in Turkey). We'll stop by again when staying in Charleston. Def recommend TORC when in South Charleston.
Sit down lunch and dinner are one think, but many restaurants shine on catering! Take Olive Tree and chef/owner Michael Jarrouj! He's catered numerous parties and events I've attended! Saturday night was the Salango Law party at Go Mart Ball Park!!! OMG the Olive Tree food was insanely GOOD!!!! Can't wait to enjoy their treats again soon!!!
